The Australian Government is now inviting organisations via a targeted process to apply for Innovation Grants and Proof-of-Concept Grants under a targeted competitive grant round (Stage 2) of the Future Drought Fund Drought Resilience Innovation Grants Program.

Stage 2 of the program provides for a targeted competitive process and only applies to Innovation Grants and/or Proof-of-Concept Grants.

Applications from the Expression of Interest (EOI) round (Stage 1) have been assessed and those determined to have merit have been invited to progress to a more comprehensive assessment. All other EOI applications not invited to apply in the targeted competitive round will be considered for an Ideas Grant, and no further action is required.

Innovation Grant applicants invited to apply in the targeted round must address the assessment criteria in their grant application. This will involve a more detailed elaboration of the proposal provided in their EOI, and providing some additional information, particularly on project quality and rigour.

The questions and answers guidance document provided to invited applicants will provide further information applicants should consider when submitting their targeted round applications. For example, invited applicants will be asked to quote budgets as GST exclusive and outline minimum and maximum budget requirements.
