Regional Family Dispute Resolution Services 

The Australian Government is inviting organisations via a restricted process to apply to deliver the Regional Family Dispute Resolution (RFDR) Services as part of the Family Relationship Services Program (FRSP) from 1 July 2019 to 30 June 2024.  Funding will be offered to 23 organisations as a result of this process.



RFDR services are designed to meet the particular needs of regional communities, providing a range of services to help separating families resolve disputes and reach agreement on parenting arrangements and property. These services provide dispute resolution, education, information and counselling. The objectives of the grant opportunity are to:

  • assist separating families resolve disputes relating to separation and divorce and improve their post-separation relationships, and
  • improve people’s management of issues relating to separation.
