Taxable Payment Annual Reporting - Information for Vendors

In August 2018, the Department of Social Services (DSS) will report details of certain payments to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).

The payments to be reported are:

1. Payments made between 1 July 2017 and 30 June 2018 for:
   
   1. grants to entities with an Australian Business Number (ABN);
   2. services, with the exception of payments for travel, property, telephone, lease of goods, software licences, employee reimbursements, payments made by credit card and payments made to other government related entities.

If you received a payment from DSS that meets those criteria, it will be reported to the ATO.
