The Australian Government uses a range of systems to record and report on the outcomes of grants and to support organisations in managing their grant.
The first step in accessing grant systems is to set up an Australian Government Digital Identity.
What is myID (formerly myGovID)
myID (formerly myGovID) is the Australian Government’s Digital Identity app which is available to download on your smart devices. myID allows you to securely verify your identity to access a range of government online services. The app will have a new name and new look, but you’ll continue to use it in the same way.
You will need to have a myID to register for user access to the following:

What is the Relationship Authorisation Manager
Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM) is an authorisation service that allows you to act on behalf of a business online when linked with your myID.

What is the Grant Recipient Portal
The Grant Recipient Portal (Portal) is a Community Grants Hub platform where grant recipients can manage their grants online. Currently the Portal is only available for some programs.
To access the Grant Recipient Portal, you will need to set up your myID and Relationship Authorisation Manager.

What is the Data Exchange
The Data Exchange is a two-way partnership of information sharing between government agencies and service providers, which enables both to find smarter and more efficient ways of improving service delivery and understanding the overall outcomes being achieved for individuals, families and their communities.
The Data Exchange has two standardised six-monthly periods that cover 1 January to 30 June and 1 July to 31 December. Organisations can choose to submit their data on a daily, weekly or monthly basis at any time during the reporting period. However, all data must be submitted within 30 days after the close of each period.
