Be grant ready
Community grant opportunities are offered throughout the year. To be prepared for a grant opportunity it is a good idea to have a project plan ready. A project plan makes it easier to answer the questions in a grant application form.
The how to be grant ready video provides an overview of what needs to be included in a project plan.

Apply for a grant opportunity
Before applying for a grant, it is important to read the Grant Opportunity Guidelines (GOGs) as this will explain the grant, who is eligible to apply and what is required. It is always a good idea to read the Questions and Answers document for the grant opportunity as this will answer the most commonly asked questions.
When ready to apply for a grant opportunity, the video below explains the process.

Answering the assessment criteria
One of the keys to a successful grant application is providing the necessary information and evidence to meet the grant assessment criteria and eligibility requirements. A project plan will assist in answering the assessment criteria.
The explaining the assessment criteria video provides information on what should be included when answering the assessment criteria.

Getting application feedback
Feedback on a grant application can be very useful when applying for future grant opportunities. General feedback for every grant round is published on the Application feedback page (link to current page).
Sometimes, individual feedback is available. Information on how to request this feedback will be included in the relevant grant opportunity.
