The Australian Government is inviting organisations via a demand driven process to apply to deliver services under the International Education Support Program – Cheung Kong Exchange Program.

The objective of the grant opportunity is for the invited Australian universities to deliver short-term mobility opportunities for outgoing Australian students and incoming Asian students.

The intended outcome of the grant opportunity is that all grant funding is expended in accordance with these guidelines.

The available funding will be distributed proportionately between the successful Australian universities that elect to participate in this grant opportunity. 

This grant opportunity supports short-term mobility opportunities in, and students from, the following specified countries: Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, China (including Hong Kong), India, Indonesia, Japan, Republic of Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Republic of the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

Grantees must use their grant funding to support short-term mobility opportunities for at least 4 students. Numbers of outgoing and incoming students participating in the mobility opportunities must be equal. Student travel must be completed between 1 July 2021 and 30 June 2023.

Types of mobility opportunity may include short-term study, research, and practicums or clinical placements.
