Community Child Care Fund grant opportunity applications is being extended

Applications for the Community Child Care Fund (CCCF) open competitive grant opportunity has been extended and will close at 2:00pm AEDST on Thursday 2 November 2017. 

The CCCF, part of the new child care package, is a key component of the Australian Government's new Child Care Safety Net. It contributes to giving the most vulnerable children a strong start in life, while supporting parents into work.

Under the CCCF, eligible child care services will be able to apply for supplementary funding through a grants program to:

• reduce the barriers in accessing child care, in particular for disadvantaged or vulnerable families and communities
• provide sustainability support for child care services experiencing viability issues
• provide capital support to increase the supply of child care places in areas of high unmet demand.

The CCCF grant application pack, which includes the Grant Opportunity Guidelines, questions and answers and link to the application form, can be found on the Community Grants Hub website. The documentation on this website, as well as the GrantConnect website, has been updated to reflect this extension.
